Foss closed until end of August

THE Foss Navigation, off the Ouse in York will be closed all July and August.

This means there will be no access to the basin on the navigation from Monday 6th July until Monday 31st August.

Make boaters aware

The Ciry of York Council have asked Canal & River Trust to ensure all boaters are aware of the closure.

The Environment Agency is replacing the Foss Barrier.  As a result the Foss Navigation will be closed during the period with no possible access.
