Email: Plenty of moorings

David Harpin's comments about the lack of residential moorings sum up the situation about continuous cruising quite succinctly, but not I suspect in the way he intended.

There are plenty of available moorings, but like most things in life, (houses, flats, mobile homes etc) they come at a price.

The ‘Waterworld' legacy of easy cheap living without civic responsibility has still not died down despite the glut of what were very expensive craft that are now unsaleable at anything like what they cost.

In the meantime, we are plagued with the current problems with continuous cruising/mooring which none of the responsible official bodies are prepared to tackle with a positive attitude. Instead they continue to stoke up the bad feelings towards each other, of the parties concerned.
