Another landslip closes Worcester & Birmingham Canal

THERE has been another landslip on the Worcester & Birmingham Canal.

This landslip near Dunhampstead Tunnel East Portal has closed the waterway and comes a month after the last landslip, that time at Shortwood Tunnel West Portal, was repaired, Keith Gudgin reports.

Small landslip

That landslip was caused as a result of Storm Babet, closing the navigation, but there is no intimation what caused this latest problem, only that it is a 'small landslip'.

So should take little time to repair.
