Whaley Bridge market was successful

A SPECIAL food and art market at Whaley Bridge  proved successful.

Held in the town in the Peak Forest Canal transshipment warehouse it brought in many people to the event on Wednesday enjoying the food and the displays.

There were stalls both inside and outside the warehouse, with events held every month to raise funds for the Whaley Bridge Canal Group.

Volunteers

The group is working to conserve Whaley Bridge basin, the warehouse and the towpath up to Bridge 32 of the Peak Forest Canal, and are always looking for more volunteers to join the group, doing as much or as little as they require.

The main volunteer day is on the 1st Sunday of each month, Noon until 3pm.
