Email: Should be safe

Harriet Bland should be safe by the NIA, (Where are we safe?). Maybe just put up with a little rowdiness.

Aston Locks are not just round the corner, but below Farmers Bridge, and somewhere I would never walk alone in either the day or the night.

There are many parts of the city where one is vulnerable, not just canal towpaths. Many years ago I lived in Nechells and even then we were very aware of isolation on the towpath and pedestrian subways. There are at least safe moorings now below Aston Locks so that one no longer has to travel from Old Turn to the top of Curdworth all in one day.
