Concerns over missing boater

THERE are concerns over a resident boater at Shireoaks Marina on the Chesterfield Canal who has been missing for nearly a week.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police tells that Steven Johnson was last seen by a fellow boater at around 7.30pm on Tuesday, 4th December, at the marina, but has not been seen since.

Meal together

The pair had a meal together before Steven left to return to his own boat—the last he was seen.

He is white, of slim build and 5ft 8ins tall. He was wearing sandy-coloured rigger boots and a dark-coloured jumper and trousers. If you have seen Steven, or have any information contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
