Trust gets cash

CASH has been given to the Rickmansworth Waterways Trust to help cover the cost of an educational co-ordinator.

Conservative county councillors Frances Button and Chris Hayward have given £1,500 to the Trust, that operates two narrowboats and teaching programmes on the Grand Union Canal.

These are Learning at the Lock, for primary schools, and Under the Bridge, that helps disadvantaged teenagers improve their self confidence.
