LARRY the lock keeper at Clifton Lock on the Thames put in a great deal of effort selling plants to help the Rio Atlantic Forest Trust this year, and would like to thank all who helped.

And Larry writes:

Once again another season draws to an end and I would just like to say thank you to everyone who purchased our plants in aid of The Rio Atlantic Forest Trust. www.riotrust.org

Raised £921.12

I hope that you enjoyed them and that they might remind you from time to time of your visits to Clifton Lock, and our efforts towards rain forest conservation. This year we raised £921.12 which beat last year's total by over £100 so well done everyone.

A special thanks to Angie, Steve and the other reliefs who helped in their own time towards this worthwhile endeavour, check out the web site to see where the money is going, and once again many thanks and hopefully see you all next season
