A CAR AND ITS DRIVER have been recovered in the Trent after four months.
This car was found in the river by Wilford Suspension Bridge, Janet Friend reports.
The police have confirmed that this was the same vehicle that went missing on the 15th November 2025, with the driver, who was also reported missing still inside the car.
Searches since November
Searches for both the car and its driver had been taking place since November, and was discovered on Sunday', when the vehicle was lifted our of the water, finding the driver inside.
The searches however have not been constant owing to the high levels of the Trent and the heavy rainfall.
The police are at present working to establish how the vehicle came to be in the water.
