THERE WERE TWO STOPPAGES on the Grand Union Canal yesterday, Wednesday.
One is a regular stoppage, Keith Gudgin reports.
This is Foxton Swingbridge (4) on the Market Harborough Arm of the Grand Union Canal.
It is currently closed due to a mechanical issue.
It is told by the trust that they are working to repair this as soon as possible.
(We apologise for showing the wrong image of the swing bridge and our thanks to Rodney Hardwick for pointing this out.)
Grand Union South
Lock 64 on the Grand Union South is currently not working.
This it is told is because of an issue with an offside paddle, with the lock out of action until a repair is undertaken.
LATEST: Foxton Swing Bridge on the Market Harborough Arm has now been repaired and the navigation open.
