WHITE MILLS BRIDGE OVER THE NENE will be closed for at least six months while essential works take place.
North Northamptonshire Council is carrying out the works on White Mills Bridge, that is located by White Mills Lock.
The bridge is presently closed and will be completely replaced, with work starting on the 12th January. It is expected to take at least six months the work being undertaken by Kier Construction.
Heavy vehicles
When completed it will take heavy vehicles as well as pedestrians.
It is expected that navigation on the river will be stopped whilst overhead work is in progress.
