THERE WERE TWO MORE CLOSURES yesterday, stopping navigations.
These were on the Trent and the Aire & Calder Navigation, Keith Gudgin reports.
Newark Town Lock (13) on the Trent (pictured) was closed to navigation due to an electrical fault. But a team will be onsite today to assess the situation and determine what repairs are required.
Fishponds Lock
Fishponds Lock, (4) upstream offside gate on the lock on the Aire & Calder Navigation is our of action due to an hydraulic failure.
The local mechanical and electrical team will attend to investigate the issue that is located beneath a caged-off area.
Once inspection has taken place further information will be given.
