THERE IS LIMITED USE DURING the winter of both Foxton and Watford flights.
This is now in force as it covers the winter months from the end of October to the end of March.
Boaters cruising the Leicester Section of the Grand Union Canal should bear in mind that the opening of these flights is from 9.30am with the last boat in at 2.30pm.

This is in force right up to the 28th March 2026. The picture shows part of the Watford Flight
Foxton Flight is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and Watford Flight is closed on Christmas Day.
It is not expected there will be any lack of water as has been the case this year!
