THE VAZON RAIL DRAWBRIDGE at Keadby is working again.
It was on the 5th November when the bridge failed again, Keith Gudgin reports.
But Network Rail state that the necessary work has been completed on the bridge and it is now fully operational.
This meaning that boaters can navigate again on the Stainforth & Keadby Canal, as the bridge will now slide open to allow them to pass.
Many stoppages
There have been many stoppages with the drawbridge not working, and as previously stated, we were stuck until an engineer could come and re-set the system that all too often stops working.
There was a major upgrade to the bridge, pictured, but this did not stop the failures, it even now being reliant on the temperature that can stop it operating.
