IT WAS ON TUESDAY that the Anderton Visitor Centre was closed due to a broken boiler.
As it was then not possible to serve hot drinks or have hot water, there was no option but to close the centre.
It was promised to have the boiler repaired by this coming Friday the 24th.
Been repaired
And now Michael Daine tells us that the boiler has been repaired and the site will now be open as normal, as promised from 9.30am on Friday, serving breakfasts.
At the same time the trust will be running informative boat trips.
