IN ADDITION TO THE Anderton Boat Lift being broken and out of use, comes another failure.
Now it's the Visitor Centre that is out of use as its boiler has busted, with our being told:
'We're very sorry, but the site and visitor centre will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday 21st October and Wednesday 22nd October, due to a broken boiler and lack of hot water. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused and should be back up and running on Friday 24th.
No tea!
So there is nothing at the moment at Anderton—not even of cup of tea!
Yet the Visitor Centre was opened way after the lift was reopened so should hardly be having a boiler failure...
