THE GRANTHAM CANAL SOCIETY has arranged a Sea Shanty Evening to help funds.
This will feature the Stormy Weather Boys and will be held at the Gamston Lock Pub that has agreed to host the event on behalf of the Grantham Canal Society.
It will be held this coming Sunday the 25th May, with everyone welcome.
Advise on volunteering
Members of the society will be there to inform about the aims of the society in the West Bridgford/Gamston region, and advise on volunteering.
Particularly as the society will be setting up a new volunteer depot in Gamston shortly, to enable work parties to help restore the Nottingham end of the Grantham Canal.
