A Weaver swing bridge repaired

IT IS good news for the 'Ghost Ship', Danny, giving trips on the Weaver from Anderton Boat Lift.

For one of the broken swing bridges at least has been repaired and now back in action allowing such large ships as the Danny to pass through.

Problems resolved

It was back in May that Sutton Swing Bridge failed, with various attempts at getting it working, but the problems have been resolved, Keith Gudgin reports.

With navigation resumed, large ships can once again navigate the bridge.
