An update on the Grand Union Summit water supply

FOLLOWING the article on the suggestions of a low water problem on the Grand Union Summit, here's an update showing the reservoirs are well up.

There is plenty of water Howard Clarke tells us, with his photograph of Startopsend Reservoir clearly showing plenty of water, adding there is also a steady flow on Wendover Arm from the pumping station.

No problems

Howard has also provided us with a photograph of the important Marsworth Reservoir, below, clearly showing there are no problems.

Boat traffic too, he tells, is moving normally, but adds there has been a lot of work on Tringford Reservoir strengthening the walls and spillway.

No shortage

Certainly no shortage of a water supply to the summit of the Grand Union.
