Cyclist's body discovered in Birmingham canal

A CCTV has been released of Paul Morris whose body was discovered in the Birmingham Level Main Line Canal.

It shows his last movements riding along the towpath in Ladywood near the A4540 flyover on the evening of the the 21st December, Keith Gudgin reports.

No indication

The police are now asking for anyone who saw Paul riding along the towpath that day to come forward as there is no indication of what occurred to result in the tragedy.

His death is currently being treated as 'unexplained' as the post mortem was inconclusive.
