Most leaking lock—6

ONE thing is for sure there will be no way to decide which is the most leaking lock!

The latest from Dave Martin is a lock on the Shropshire Union Canal.

Hack Green No.2 on the Shroppie, he points out, may not be quite the leakiest, but it does also have a broken 'bumper' which can be seen in the surf on the left hand side.

How to decide

So deciding which is the worst leaking lock has its problems we discover—is it the one allowing the most water to escape or the one with other things, concerning the cill or whatever?
