A load of rubbish!

ALL of you conversant with the Leicester Section will be aware of the frequency of the locks, writes James Henry.

So the much publicised article about the eight miles police chase to catch a suspect at Glen Parva Lock is sheer rubbish, it making out that the chase had to go all this way before the suspect had to moor to get through that lock.

Less than a mile

Yet the lock is less than a mile from those at either side, so how did the police chase the boat for eight miles before coming to it?

In fact there is no eight miles pound around that area.  Another example of the rubbish that is churned out these days by the national press with even the BBC taken in.
