Flood locks closed

FLOOD locks on the canals connecting with rivers are now closed.
This of course means that there is no access onto rivers, with their flood locks closed to navigation.
Persistent rain
This is the result of persistent rain over the past days resulting in the rivers in flood conditions.
Canals too containing river sections have their flood locks closed, including the Kennet & Avon, Trent & Mersey, Oxford, Caldon and the northern waterways.
