The scheme will open up 220 yards of previously inaccessible Grand Union Canal frontage, described as 'creating a new waterfront destination'.

The joint developers are HUB Residential and National Express who have secured planning permission for the mixed-use regeneration scheme with phase one a six acre site bordering the Grand Union Canal, with the possibility of moorings.

First phase

This first of six phases will involve building 214 homes across a single building ranging in height from 7 to 15 storeys with the tallest of the buildings rising to 25 storeys to be built in phase two.

The buildings will include a mix of shops and office space in addition to homes.
