Which part of the Grand Union?

THE recent strong winds have brought down several trees on the Grand Union Canal, but we have to guess where!

The stoppage notice tells it is between locks 8 and 9. But is this the Grand Union South or North asks Roger Fox, adding that it would be useful to know whether it is Braunston or Stockton!

And the notice says that there is a map but I cannot find it.

However, the navigation is closed until the trees can be removed and boaters are advised not to travel along this section—wherever it is!
