Cruise the River Great Ouse
AFTER its winter maintenance the John Bunyan trip boat is ready to start a new season on the River Great Ouse at Bedford.
The inside of the boat has been transformed for its new season with special ventilation windows (pictured below) that also serve to give passengers a good view out as well as keeping it cool in summer.
Join the volunteers
Though the organisation running the boat has lots of volunteers who manage and work the John Bunyan, there is always need for new ones as the trips are a victim of their own success, so there is an invitation to new people to join the band of volunteers to 'come aboard and crew'.
