Safer in a marina

I REALLY like that idea of Cruise Moor that you featured, writes James Henry (Yes, I am still boating!)

I once had my boat broken into whilst moored bank-side when I went up that hill at Market Drayton on the Shroppie, and so I very much welcome being able to moor in one of the Cruise Moor marinas listed, as would be safe from  thieves.

One marina I stayed in (not in the group) I had to fork-out £20 for two days stay, that I thought a little expensive, though at least I had peace of mind whilst we visited relatives. So those in the group (I moor in one of them) would be very welcome as the mooring would be free as well as safe.

I just wonder though, looking at the marina you showed with only a couple of vacant berths, how it would manage to get boats in?

Oh dear!

Oh dear!  My wife just nudged me and told that boats in that marina would likely also be taking advantage of the Cruise Moor system, or out cruising, so there would be empty berths.
