Canal search for missing student

THE Coventry Canal is to be searched for a student who went missing over six weeks ago at the end of January.

Once again it is a student who has gone missing after drinking in a night club until the early hours then attempting to walk home.

Not seen since

Ozeivo Akerele, a Nigerian student studying his master's degree left Coventry night club, Iglu, at 3.30am on the 31st January and has not been seen since.

The police handed out flyers to football supporters at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday, but now tell that they are to search the waterway with underwater equipment.
