Leaks coming fast and furious!

YET another leak on a waterway has been announced, with the Worcester & Birmingham Canal now closed in Birmingham.

 

The leak has been discovered at an aqueduct on the waterway between Bridge 88 near Gas Street Basin, where the structure has failed allowing the leakage, with the canal now closed at this point and drained, Keith Gudgin tells us.

Inspection has not yet been done, so there is no indication for how long the waterway will be closed.  Once this is achieved, the Trust will advise.
