Boats nearly cleared past site of Llangollen breach

A LOCAL team has been assisting boats through the site of the closure on the Llangollen over the past few days.

They are all expected to be cleared by today, Wednesday. To protect the site, navigation is only allowed during a short period in the day, Keith Gudgin reports.

Regularly monitored

Work to protect the site of the leak has continued today, and is being regularly monitored to ensure it remains stable whilst the boats have all gone through.

When all the boats are cleared it is expected work will start on the breach, the boats being cleared for it is not of course known how long the actual repair work will take.
