Important winter works cancellation

THERE is still another winter works cancellation, as scope of the work too much larger than thought.

And this time time it is an important one, Keith Gudgin reports.

For the work was required to replace both the top and bottom gates of Lock 12 (Bottom lock) of the Tinsley Flight of the Sheffield & South Yorkshire Navigation and also to carry out chamber brickworks and ladder repairs.

Wait until the future

But this will now have to wait until the future.

The problem, Canal & River Trust relate, is because investigation has revealed that the scope of the work required is much larger than originally planned.
