According to a site on the Net, the bulk price for Red diesel has risen considerably in the last 12 months:-

Red diesel prices are now 24.6% higher than 12 months previously, with the average price in July 2011 13.68ppl higher than a year earlier at 69.32ppl.

From my own observations Calor gas has risen from in the region of £22 to £26 for a 13kg bottle, a rise if my maths are correct of almost 20%.

If costs have not risen why have boaters cut back on their boating by over 25%?
