I must agree with Richard's whinge about moorings. I too have recently spit tacks at sitting for an hour and a half at tick-over passing a line of moored craft two miles long on the off-side on the run North into Chester.

Between the first two bridges of the line, couldn't even stop at the towpath for a cuppa to break the monotony!

Couldn't see it for the weeds!  Oh, except for where the moorers on the other side had thrashed a bit of it back to make themselves a little ‘unofficial' winding hole!

I know during navigation the scenery isn't meant to change that quick, but it is meant to change!
