Can caused Weil's disease

A BOATER drank from a can of Coke on a Sunday, and was dead on Wednesday, killed by Weils's disease.

This happened in Texas, and the cans were stored in a refrigerator, but this did not kill the poison in the rat urine that was on the can, Paul Savage tells us.

This was traced to the can of coke she drank from, not using a glass, with tests showing that the can was infected by dried rat urine.

Rats can abound

It is highly recommended to thoroughly wash the upper part of all cans before drinking out of them, as cans are typically stocked in warehouses, where rats can abound and break the plastic covering .

An American study has found that the tops of  drink cans  can be more contaminated than public toilets.
