Towpath motorcyclist arrested

A MOTORCYCLIST racing along the towpath of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal in Blackburn was caught by the police and arrested after complaints of his dangerous driving.

It was locals who reported the activity of a particular motorcyclists careering along the towpath, and he nearly knocked over a police officer after a foot patrol was sent to the scene close to the Moorings pub.

It was discovered he had been disqualified, so the 47 years old man was arrested
on suspicion of drink driving, dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified.
