Lock cottage to be sold

A LOCK cottage will be the latest BW property to be sold off, when it comes up for auction early next month.

This is a former lock keeper's house in Bradley on the Huddersfield Broad Canal, which has been offered on the instructions of British Waterways at a guide price of £125,000-plus.

The house is now vacant, and is a four bedroomed stone built detached property, which however is in need of refurbishment, and is of course situated by a lock on  the Huddersfield Broad Canal.

The property together with a row of houses in Holmfirth is being auctioned by Eddison's  on the 3rd of December at Leeds United Football Club.
