Cruise the Llangollen
THE Llangollen seems to be free of stoppages so is perhaps a choice for a cruise for Victor, writes Helen Cripps.
I guess he is well experienced enough to master the sometimes violent by-washes that feature at every lock, and have witnessed many a beginner struggling to moor against the force of the water, that many know transport water from the Welsh hills to the reservoir at Hurleston.
Somewhat of a problem
Though I expect he will first have to get there and that could prove somewhat of a problem.
I'm no lover of the Llangollen as it is usually crammed with hire boaters usually causing mayhem and I see there is yet another hire company locating there, so perhaps not such a good suggestion,
But I wish him luck, for these days he will need it!
