Huddersfield Narrow still closed

THE Huddersfield Narrow Canal that was closed last Friday is still closed.

Finding running water behind the walls of Spring Gardens Lock (10E) means the original investigation on Monday did not find a solution to the problem, Keith Gudgin tells us.

So the waterway remains closed though a further investigation is promised.
