Man pushed into canal

A MAN walking his dog along the towpath of the Staffs & Worcs Canal near Bradley, has been pushed into the water.

This unprovoked attack happened yesterday when a 60 years old man walking his dog was pushed into the water that luckily was shallow and so he was able to climb out, Alan Tilbury reports.

Taken to hospital

The police were called to the attack that took place at 5.30am with the man taken to hospital to have his injuries treated and as he was soaking wet.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police Force Response explained:

“A dog walker was pushed into the canal in the early hours of this morning. The victim is currently in hospital recovering. An unprovoked unnecessary attack by a senseless individual.”
