Canalside warehouse to be flats

A CANALSIDE warehouse on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal is to be turned into flats.
The warehouse by the side of the canal in Burnley will house 20 flats, with work starting shortly, Alan Tilbury reports.
Approved
The developer, Whiteholme Ltd, submitted plans to turn the former warehouse into apartments, that have now been approved by Burnley Council.
The warehouse, that is grade II listed, comprises of two buildings that were used as a showroom a repair and maintenance facility and offices until May. The plans show the building housing two, three and four-bedroom apartments.
The plans were also approved by Canal & River Trust.
