Evesham River Festival this week-end

THE annual Evesham River Festival takes place this week-end by the Avon.

The boat festival includes entertainment and river activities with an illuminated boat parade and fireworks in the evening. Alan Tilbury reports.

Bands

Live music starts on Saturday with a brass band at 11am and continues with the Worcestershire Levellers and Water Ukraine Band.

Dance troops will also be performing together with the popular 'build a raft and race it' competition.

There are of course plenty of stall together with food outlets, and is held by the river in Workman Gardens.
