I'VE JUST just seen the evidence first hand, regarding the amount of visitors that CaRT reckon we have to our waterways, write Martin & Di.

This is one of the most important notice boards at Stoke Lock on the Trent.

[The Trent is well known for its complete lack of visitors, we moored on it and having often cruised it, with its  49 miles tidal section from Newark to Keadby virtually devoid of visitors as the river winds through the middle of nowhere!]
