No flexibility

My thanks to Graham Booth for reminding me of the reason for the two night restriction at Llangollen, writes David Hymers.

I remember being told about this when it first opened, but had forgotten. However, this restriction presumably does not apply to the towpath moorings, which were entirely empty when I arrived.

I think that the problem is that the permits are no longer sold by Cart staff, but by the desk of the houseboat operation who are simply doing as they are told and have no flexibility. Indeed, I saw no Cart personnel, even volunteers, all the time I was there.
