Rufford Branch closed

A BROKEN lock paddle has closed the Rufford Branch of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
The closure means there is no access to or from the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to the Rufford Branch, Keith Gudgin tells us.
Only one working?
It is not understood why a single paddle breakage caused a closure, unless of course, there was only one working paddle of the pair on the particular gates.
There is no intimation when the repair will be undertaken.
