Stupid place to hide

A MAN involved in a car crash hid in the Droitwich Canal after running away from a car crash in an attempt to avoid the police.

He had been involved in a two car crash and was attempting to avoid capture by actually submerging himself in the waterway, Alan Tilbury reports.

Treated for hypothermia

However the police discovered the man in his 30's hiding in the canal after fleeing police from a two-car crash in Stoke Prior, but being in the very cold water he had to be taken to hospital for treatment for hypothermia.

A woman and young child in the other car were injured and taken to hospital by ambulance.
