Stoppage notices getting worse

 THE stoppage notices from Canal & River Trust, never really giving good information are now getting worse.

We are told the Worcester & Birmingham Canal will be closed from Tuesday 23rd January until Sunday 28th January inclusive, as now normal, caused by a leakage and needing the pound draining at Lock 31, that is toward the bottom of Tardebigge Flight, Keith Gudgin tells us.

Then the notice tells us the winding holes—Up Stream Winding Hole: WB-027-004. Down Stream Winding Hole: WB-021-012!
