A FIRE on a cruiser moored on the Thames, last night (Thursday) at Kingston left it completely destroyed.

The narrowboat moored behind the cruiser was badly scorched by the flames that were so intense that people were evacuated from nearby flats as a precaution, Alan tilbury reports.

Gas cylinders

A spokesman for the The London Fire Brigade told that gas cylinders were involved causing a hazard, but the fire was eventually doused.

There was very little left of the GRP cruiser, with its remains due to be removed.
