Lots of Santa trips on Chesterfield Canal

THOSE of you who have never ventured onto the Chesterfield Canal, a Santa trip would be a good way of exploring it, either the connected section or the unconnected restored section. There are five to choose from.

Chesterfield

The tripboat, John Varley, will be running Santa Special trips on every Saturday and Sunday from 18th November to 24th December and on Wednesday 20th, Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd December. All leave from Tapton Lock, on the Tesco roundabout in Chesterfield, S41 7JB.

Retford

The tripboat, Seth Ellis, will be running Santa Special trips every Saturday and Sunday from 25th November to 24th December and on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd December. All leave from the Hop Pole on the A620, Welham Road, DN22 6UG.

Worksop

The tripboat, Hugh Henshall, will be running Santa Special trips on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December at 11:00, 12:15 and 13:15. All leave from the Lock Keeper pub in Worksop, S81 1TJ.

Hollingwood Hub

The tripboat, Madeline, will be running Santa Special trips on every Saturday and Sunday from 2nd to 23rd December and on Wednesday 20th, Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd December.
