No warning notice at locks

I'm no apologist for CaRT, but you imply CaRT hasn't published a closure notice. We received an automated email on 21st September publishing details.

However, we were somewhat surprised coming up that section on Saturday that there were no warning notices at the locks themselves.

We worked up the relevant locks with another boat who knows the section of old, who remarked that it had little to do with the reservoirs... There had been a significant leak somewhere in that area for over seven years. And one of the local farmers was getting fed up with the canal draining into his fields. Hearsay, but doubtless quite likely.
