Hawkesbury lock fault reported on many occasions

I think it must be pointed out that the damaged gate at Hawkesbury (Sutton Stop) has been cocking out (not able to open fully) since last year and has been reported to CaRT on a number of occasions.

The metal strap at the top of the head has been polished shiny by the constant scraping of boat sides as they enter or exit the lock.

It's not always CaRT's fault, but on this occasion it must admit to it being lack of corrective maintenance that has led to this considerable nuisance.
